My San Francisco Therapy Practice
I provide psychotherapy for individuals, couples, families, and groups, and have additional experience working with children, adolescents, and members of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) community. Particular areas of interest include issues such as depression, anxiety, stress, HIV, substance abuse, transgender identity, life transitions, relationships, and parenting.
I am working under the supervision of Dino Di Donato, MFT, and sharing his beautiful office located on the top floor of the Hotel Whitcomb, on Market Street at 8th Street. It is easily accessible from the Civic Center BART/MUNI Station, with public and metered parking also available nearby.
My office hours are Fridays from 1 to 8 PM, and Saturdays from 10 AM to 5 PM.
Therapeutic Approach
I believe that the therapeutic relationship is of primary importance, and endeavor to use the best in myself – empathy, warmth, authenticity, compassion, and unconditional positive regard – to assist my clients in achieving the change they desire.
My style is pragmatic and interactive, seeking to meet my clients where they are, and integrating elements of humanistic-existential, psychodynamic, family systems, and mindfulness-based cognitive therapeutic approaches, as appropriate.
